The
name: "mh" or the Million Hours
Project.
The
invitation: to become part of
the first wave of the ripple of compassion that will sweep the world when
KidsGames do mh.
The
challenge: to do hours of
compassionate service by kids from each KidsGames (to work with FamilyGames,
TeenGames and EdgeGames) and then contribute it to mh. We are aiming to see at what record time
we reach our first million hours of service…and then how fast we can reach our
second, and third…
It can be done.
But this will not
happen without thousands of kids at hundreds of KidsGames making their
contribution. If 200 000 children
take part by the end of 2004, and each participate in at least 5 hours of
service, that means 1 million hours of service.
-
Imagine tens
and hundreds of thousands of kids doing genuine compassionate service coming
from their hearts. Imagine the impact on their generation, and the next.
Imagine what God can do using kids with energy and compassion.
-
A million
hours is the equivalent of the work done in one year by 400 full time workers!
Or in more than a century of 24 hours a day service!
To accept the
challenge and participate in mh
during your KidsGames:
-
Appoint a Compassion Coordinator for your
KidsGames
-

Competition Day)
-
Register the hours of service your children
have completed (see below for details)
You don’t have to stop
there:
-
You’ve done it once – continue to do more
Compassion Days, Projects or Camps
Keep
on registering the hours
